The SF Market’s critical food infrastructure connects urban and rural food economies, moving hundreds of thousands of pounds of produce each day.

  • In response to COVID-19 pandemic, helped the organization craft a new strategy and messaging for social media to communicate The SF Market’s role in the critical food infrastructure.

  • To help promote The SF Market’s leadership of the Emergency Food Program in response to COVID-19, crafted several long form posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. In partnership with the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), merchant businesses, and multiple San Francisco nonprofits, The SF Market leveraged its resources to provide 12,000 grocery bags containing fresh produce and staples and 60,000 meals to under-resourced San Francisco communities between April and June 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
